I gotta say this thing is pretty cool. It's like a little fireplace without the heat. It really looks like a flame, but it's just water. I love the long & thin shape because I don't have a ton of space to work with, so I was looking for something on the smaller side. Easy to fill, easy to use, very quiet, no water dripping noise, I didn't think I'd really care whether I had a remote or not but it actually makes a huge difference since the buttons are located on the back on the bottom & they're small. I was a little bummed it doesn't light up all the colors at once like displayed in the main pic, instead it lights up all of those colors separately. It can be left on one color choice or continuously change colors. There's a timer, but I don't even really use that because it has a safety feature that automatically turns it off when it's empty. It doesn't get hot. The scent options are endless thanks to essential oils (or water can be used alone for no scent). Living room, bathroom, bedroom, office, kitchen, dining room, garage, patio, even children's rooms. I can't picture a decorating style this wouldn't go with.
